Chapter 16 The Metamorphosis of the Mind I was falling, falling…I was in a state of free fall and I could not believe how many thoughts sailed through my mind in what must have been mere seconds. When the mind, senses one being in a moment of death, it automatically triggers itself into a sudden state of mysterious metamorphosis.
