Viktor’s POV. The afternoon meeting at the university administrative wing had run longer than planned. I sat at the head of the long table, reviewing the final set of departmental budgets while Jessie took notes beside me. The numbers were clean. Enrolment projections looked strong. On paper, everything under the Business Administration department was running exactly as it should. “That will be all for today,” I said, closing the folder. “Send the revised figures to the dean’s office before five.” Jessie nodded and began gathering the papers.
