“Indeed she is your daughter . No matter what she does , she is always right .”
I scoff inwardly as mom and dad shift uncomfortably in their place at my words .
It doesn’ t escape me how mom freezes for a second before she unwraps her arms around Emily and takes a small step away from her .
Mom frowns , softening her voice slightly . “You are our daughter too Eve . We just want you two to get along well like sisters . Emily isn’t wicked like you think . . ”
I ignore her and gesture to Betty to come forward . “Set mine and Grandpa’s breakfast in the garden . We will eat there today .”
“I will have my breakfast there too .” Dad’ s voice comes and i freeze for a second before looking back at him .
