A Scary Truth
There was something wrong. I knew it from the look of Rose’s face as she looked at her phone. Diana was here and I couldn’t ask questions that would not be for her ears. Now as the plane landed on the run away the security detail that was present signaled that fact to me even further. Rose whispered to me as she got up. “We have to move to a safe location right away.” I didn’t bother asking. I didn’t bother questioning. I couldn’t show any expression that would make Diane catch on I nodded my head. We got off the plane and were greeted with lines of security. “Wow so many of them,” Diane said to me. “Yes, just follow and everything will be fine.” I gazed her as she walked by my side. “I am accustomed to it.
