The trios

They both tried to take Zahid down by throwing flying kicks at him from two different sides. But Zahid spun his torso with the motion of the two kicks, thus sending them to opposite locations. But Zahid didn’t stop there, he used the momentum of the spin another time and jump into a spinning hook kick at one of his opponents resulting in a knockout. He then shifted his gaze to the other opponent who was dashing towards Zahid. But before he could make any move, Zahid threw a very fast straight punch to the solar plexus. The opponent fell down to the ground desperately clinging for breath. Zahid then shifted his attention to Kalil’s fight, confident that the enemies he knocked down won’t be getting up. Kalil at the moment was dancing around his opponent and easily evading all his attacks. He showed his complete dominance over him. And now that he was done, he swiftly threw a roundhouse kick to the opponent’s head immediately knocking him unconscious. They stared at their out-cold opponents wondering what to do. “We should kill them, shouldn’t we? I mean the game won’t be over till only one of us is left,” said Zahid. “Yeah, I guess we should do it,” replied Kalil while a drop of sweat rolled down his cheek. “So… go ahead, kill him,” said Zahid. “Why don’t you do it?” asked Kalil. Then they both stared at each other for a few moments. “We are too afraid to kill, aren’t we?” they told each other. After a few more moments of silence, Zahid exclaimed, “I have an idea!” “What?” asked Kalil. “Why don’t we just let them in our team and make them do the killing for our next opponents?” Zahid continued. “Your idea is to let our enemies stay with us and wait for them to find the right opportunity to backstab us?” asked Kalil with a deadpan face. Zahid answered, “Well if you have any better ideas I would love to lend an ear.” One of the opponents started to move, indicating they would wake up soon. “Just do what I say. No chance should be wasted,” said Zahid. “What happened?” murmured one of them as his blurry vision started to clear out. He started to see the leaves partially blocking the artificial sun's rays. “So, you have woken up,” a dramatic voice came. He sat up to see Zahid standing in front of them with his arms cross, showing them his back. He turned his face to him a little bit just to let him know he has a smile on his face after which he showed his back again. The other two just woke up. Kalil who was hiding in the bushes facepalmed and sighed. “Why did you keep us alive?” one of them asked. “Heh, why did I spare you guys?” Zahid said in a heroic tone, “I saw something in the three of you. Something special. The moments me and Kalil were fighting you we realized, we guys were meant to be a team.” Kalil whispered to himself, “This would only work on a fool.” Suddenly one of them burst out in tears. “I never felt so special in my life,” he cried out. “I want to dedicate my whole life to you,” another one joined the cry. “I can’t help my tears,” another one cried too. Zahid smiled at them and said, “Take your time to sob it out chosen ones for we have a long journey ahead of us.” “Did he say chosen ones!” their crying intensified. “He did.” Kalil sighed and said, “Maybe they are fools after all.” A few minutes of sobbing persisted. “My name is Khalid,” said one of them. “I am Walid,” said another. “And I am Sajid,” said the last. Kalil joked, “Are you guys twins or something?” “Yes, sir. We are,” Khalid answered. “The three of us were always together in everything we do. We did classes together, we played together, we ate together and we even studied together,” said Walid. “Now that you mention it, you three look pretty much the same. Three tall and handsome blondes with blue eyes,” said Zahid. “We also failed together by the way,” said Sajid. Khalid and Walid jumped onto him to hold his mouth close. “Man, don’t ruin their image of us. They just called us the chosen ones.” “Well, at the age of 20, the three of us decided that we would work as army soldiers and serve our country,” said Khalid. “Oh, that explains the messy fighting style,” remarked Kalil, “How old are you guys now?” “27!” answered Khalid. “Me too. I am also 27,” added Walid. “Same goes for me. 27 here,” said Sajid. “Umm, you guys don’t need to answer separately. You guys are twins. Of course, you would be of the same ages,” answered Zahid with a facepalm. “Sir, it would be awesome if you introduced yourselves too,” said Sajid. “Oh! Well, I am Zahid and this is my friend Kalil. We are professional fighters. We are not twins but our age is 19. But believe me, we got the wisdom of a thousand years and we can guide you to your best,” said Zahid. Kalil rolled his eyes at Zahid’s introduction. “Anyways, we will be staying here for long, so we better find something to eat,” suggested Kalil. “Aye Sir,” the twins answered in unison. “Okay, here’s the plan,” said Zahid, “It’s not safe in this game to stay at one place. Let’s travel and find a safe place in a foodie abode where they can’t find us till the game is over.” “That place sounds too much of a fantasy to exist inside this game,” replied Kalil. “At least I have a plan. At the minimum, I have given us something to search for,” said Zahid. Kalil couldn’t argue that. So, he said, “I guess we will set off then. I wonder what’s stored in this game for us to see.”
