Miller’s POV I must’ve been out cold for quite a while because when I finally came back round, it was extremely quiet. I could not hear a sound. Not sure where I was. It was dark. And it smelt ridiculously awful. Max must have really put a number on me and now he’s probably far away somewhere with Isla. I suppose I should be grateful since he had not killed me.
