Isla’s POV I stood there speechless. Did they think it was funny to prank me like that? “Yeah, very funny. Now, what’s the real deal?” I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest. Mora frowned and then looked at my brother with a shrug. “This is not a joke, Isla. I love your brother, and I have left Miller. You are welcome to him and that pathetic Pembroke. It’s not what it’s cracked up to be anyway.” Mora told me, and I was surprised at her words because all she had done was speak to me like I was nothing. Why would she want to be with my brother when she hated me so much? He was my brother, and she wanted to take him away as well. This girl would stop at nothing to destroy my life, and I could not understand why. What did I ever do so wrong to her to deserve this?
