Kane’s POV
It feels like a blink of an eye between walking into the small side room where the officiant is waiting and Brandy saying the two words I was aching to hear.
‘I do.’
Now, as I slide my ring onto her finger, and she does the same to mine, a primal urge takes over. All I want to do is pull her close and kiss her with everything I have. I may have waited months for our first kiss, but I’m not waiting another second for our first as husband and wife.
I wrap my arms around her, pulling her flush against me as she gasps cutely. The heady realisation that I’m now holding the two things that mean everything to me, my wife and our future child, slams into me with overwhelming force as my lips finally find hers.
