The Last Stranger (On hiatus/Rewriting)

This is the missing chapter {Part 1}

Valarie POV

When my eyes finally opened it was like they didn’t. I couldn’t see anything but decided to start walking in search for answers as to where I am. I was loosing hope because I’ve been walking for longer than 10 minutes with no sign of life or light. Just as I was about to give up I saw something in the distance which made me start to run. However, I stopped upon seeing the creature. It stood at least 200 metres tall with every inch of it’s body covered in what looks like white flames. A single line of red scales ran from the middle of its forehead all the way down to the tip of its tail. I was more amazed than scared. It was such a magnificent sight to behold.

“Who trespasses in the realm of the beasts?” It spoke in a threatening deep voice.

“M-my na- name is Valarie” I stuttered as I was still overwhelmed by the sight in front of me. “May I ask who you are?” The beast scoffed at my question.

“You dare not know my name or who I am? Well let me introduce myself” It stood up and got taller. I hadn’t even realised it was sitting down. “I am both the giver and taker of life” It started to run my way but I didn’t move. “I am the untameable beast Skeletor” It moved its snout right up close to my face before backing away and roaring “FEAR ME” Its flames then turned a deep red with hints of orange and it breathed fire everywhere. I closed my eyes but opened them once I didn’t feel my skin burning. All I felt, to my surprise, was the heat the flames radiated. The beats once again came close to me. 

“What is this? My flames burn everything they touch with no exception. Who are you young one?” I looked at myself and he was right. There wasn’t even one scratch on me.

“I’ve said before and I’ll say it again. My name is Valarie and I recently discovered I’m the Mishirano Hito born to December” The creatures eyes widened in shock and it backed up a little.

“D-de- december? Are you sure?” I only nodded my head. “Answer this for me. Are you adopted by someone named Meticula Evergreen?” It was now me who was shocked.

“Yeah how did you know?” I asked which was ignored. It just sighed and sat down.

“I’ve been looking for almost for 17 years. Who would’ve thought you’d be the one to come to me” It’s been looking for me? I was going to ask why but he started to talk again. “Now listen up. You’re going to shut your mouth and let me finish this story” Story? 

“Rude much. Like me. We could make great friends” It chuckled.

“I’m sure we could but for now let me tell you a love story” I raised my eyebrows up to gesture him to go on. I don’t have anything to do or anywhere to be so why not.

 “Like I’ve said, I’m the untameable beast and it’s not a lie but it’s not completely true. I met this young man in my quest to find strong warrior. All of the people I previously fought were weak and had nothing going for them. But this man..........this man was different. He didn’t fear me. More of a admiration for me. Now he didn’t beat me in battle but whenever I thought he was done he’d get up again, again and again. His will to fight intrigued me long with the smile he wore on his face meanwhile most of his bones were broken. I knocked him out for his own good otherwise he would have continue to fight me until he died” Damn. This man must be crazy out of his mind to have fought something like this and not thrown in the towel. What am I even saying? I’d do the same. I brushed my thoughts away to concentrate on the beat’s story “He wouldn’t stop pestering me to become beats every time we saw each other so I eventually gave in one day and he became my first ever owner. 

“Sorry but may I interrupt?” 

“Go on”

”So there’s more beats? And you guys just walk around? How come I’ve never seen you?”

“We went into hiding. Only mishirano hitos can find us but enough about that.

Do you know who the man in my story is?” What? Why’s he asking me this? Why the heck would I know?

“Not a clue but he sounds a lot like me. I won’t give up on anything once I’ve put my mind to it”

“Good thing then because this man I speak very highly of is your father” My eyes widened. My father? He knew my father? I wanted to ask many more questions but he did say to let him finish the story so I kept quite. “Quite the obedient one aren’t you? Anyway let me fill the blanks for you. Do you know of the species that came from a different world into this one?”

“Yes the X-menti. They came here seeking refuge in 2010 if I’m not mistaken. An agreement, called the ‘Golden Age’, was later passed but only lasted a few months as a war broke out between us and them” I answered confidently.

“You sure know you stuff huh?” 

“No no it’s nothing. I just like to research a lot about the past so please continue”

“M’kay. Your father was the king of them” My father is a f*****g king? That’s like a whole damn flex. Yah let me stop talking to myself in my head and just listen “Very much loved by his people and quite powerful too. No one could defeat him just like how I was untameable. But we all know how that ended up. Same thing happened to him. But not in the way you would think”
