Reunited

Felix POV

It’s been almost 2 days now since Val went into a coma. I knew the spell would cause this but I’m still worried. Her hair had streaks of white and red now.

“Felix it’s okay. Valarie is fine” My mother comfortable me.

“I know but we don’t know what’s going on in her head. I couldn’t even locate her soul”

“Son she’s a fighter so don’t worry so much. You’ll see her again. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if she suddenly woke up and slapped you”

We both laughed before returning back to our sad selves.

“I need to head back now son. Call me if anything happens”

“I will. Bye mom” She waved at me before leaving. I looked at Val

“I guess she can take care of herself. I’m going off to sleep” I was about to let go of Val’s hand before I felt a little squeeze. I turned back around to look at her.

“Val. Val was that you?” When I got no respond I just thought it was all in my head until I heard my name.

“Felix” It really is her. I felt myself about to cry but I held it in. She can’t see me cry when she wakes up.

“Val open your eyes. Come on you can do it” I saw her eyes twitching but stopped

“I can’t. It feels like bricks are on my eye lids” she said

“Just don’t think about it and don’t try so hard” She listened and the next thing I know her eyes are open. I attacked her with a hug.

“I thought you weren’t going to make it” I didn’t care right now if I was crying. She hugged me back.

“Sorry for worrying you but I needed those two days or shall I say 2 months” I pulled back from the hug

“2 months? It's only be- Wait don’t tell me you were in that realm” She just nodded.

“Felix how come you didn’t tell me you have a beast of your own?” What is she on about? Oh right.

“You met Asgard?”

“I sure did and a lot of others. I don’t really know who they belonged to other than their names”

“Wait if you met mine who’s yours?” She just smirked and got up.

“You’ll have to wait and see” Is she serious right now?

“You’re so evil”

“And you love me for it” we both laughed because she’s not wrong.

“Where are we?” She asked

“X-High. The school of all Mishirano hito’s” I watched her as she looked out of the window in complete ‘awe’.

“This place isn’t as bad as I thought it would be from what I can see” she said turning to face me “When do I have to enroll?” I smiled. It’s nice to hear how enthusiastic she is. I want to know what happened those 2 months she was in that realm but I know she’s not going to tell me anything. It really changed her, that much is clear.

“Tomorrow actual so you only have a couple hours to learn about how this school is run”

“Can we start now? I know I didn’t want to go before but I’m really excited”

“Sure” I walked over to a cab it, removed 7 thick books and placed them in a table in front of her. 2 books weren’t that important but what can I say, twins think alike. If she’s gonna be evil so am I. “Read all that and you’re good to go” I said with a sheepish smile.

“That’s all?” What does she mean that’s all? She must be fronting. She grabbed the first book and opened it to page one. Her eyes skimmed the page so fast I didn’t even notice she had turned the page. Her left eye read the left page meanwhile her right eye read the right page. I was completely amazed.

“Finished” No way. I didn’t believe her so I asked some test questions

“What are the 3 houses?”

“The dragon, the Cobra and the Phoenix”

“Okay okay that was an easy one. What’s the average number of powers depending on your month?”

“If your born in January-March you only have one power. It increases by two in every 3 months rage until you get past September. After that it varies from 6-12” Hate to admit it but she’s really good. Only one little section covered that and she got it all.

“Give me the 5A rules”

“1. Your room must be clean at all times 2. Always be on time for roe call 3. Never use your powers anywhere other than the battle arena or in authorised missions 4. Wear your house badge every time you leave your room and 5. No boys and girls in a dorm room” I smiled and acknowledge she knew everything the book held. That’s a very useful power.

“Wait Felix that means we can’t be in the same room” She looked sad. Although we obviously didn’t sleep in the same room back at our home we always saw each other all the time. She always cried whenever I had to leave to go to school so I have to think of something. 

“I’ll have talk with the person who manages the dorms” She smiled and hugged me.

“Thank you” She went back to reading the other books which took her no time

“Alright Val you should get some rest. I’ll be here at 6 am to pick you up”

“AT 6? AM? Isn’t that a bit too early?” I laughed. Of course she isn’t used to this. Her old school started at 10 in the morning.

“It is but you’ll quickly get used to it”

“Goodnight then”

“Goodnight” I said as I had a handle on the door

“Wait Felix” Val called out. I turned around to look at her and she was messing with her fingers. She always does this when she’s nervous or just embarrassed.

“Never mind” I knew what she wanted to ask and sighed. I walked up to her and kissed her forehead

“Sleep tight princess” I said before walking out the door and closing it behind me. She may act tough all the time but I know there’s always a little child in their. I made my way to my room and gave a little call on Val’s request. I know she’s going to be really happy when she sees our new room. Now that I think of it I could feel immense power and energy radiating off her. She’s definitely stronger than me and I don’t think she knows how big that is. Val doesn’t know I’m the strongest in the school and I don’t mind her finding out I just don’t want her to see me as a show off. I smiled to myself because I don’t think this school is ready for her. Ready for Valarie the Mishirano hito born to December. The last stranger.
