“I assume you all know why I called you here?” I asked standing as the others sat.
“No. You literally just called us here with no information”
“Oh of course Cassandra, how very rude of me. Let me explain. We now have Valarie in our possession”
“And I wasn’t told this immediately because?”
“Ah yes, you see Tamika, we just had her brought over.” I lied as I knew it would save us all the time.
“Does this mean we can move to the next stage?”
“Indeed it does Jackson. Ashton did she give you any answers?”
“No. She’s a tough little cookie” I chuckled.
“Of course she is. What else was I expecting. What do you all propose we do?” I asked closing my eyes. I’m obviously still going to do whatever I want but it’ll kill time to hear some ideas.
“We could torture her some more? She’ll definitely c***k” Tamika suggested
“I doubt it. Should’ve seen her. We should definitely give up on that method” Ashton said shocking me.
“We could drug her?”
“Are you crazy Mia? We can’t do that. She’ll most likely die if her body can’t keep up” Inohara argued.
“Well she’s not the last Mishirano hito for no reason. If she dies we never needed her”
“Guess we should just use you as a test subject for the drug. If you die we never needed you right?” He said with a huge smile which was clearly fake.
“Oh is that so? You’re definitely not needed here. My pet gold fish could replace you” Mia said reaching for her katana.
“I wouldn’t do that if I was you” He said with electricity running through his eyes.
“Try me b***h”
“Gladly” Just before either one of them took a step foward I opened my eyes and froze the two of them.

“Both of you” He kept quite. “Mia prepare the drugs”
“Are you serious? That’s just stupid.”
“You dare question me Inohara?”
“N- no sir” I blinked to allow them to move.
“That’s what I thought as well” I turned to Mia. “Skip to it then” She bowed to me before leaving the room.
“As for the rest of you. Cassandra, Tamika”
“Yes sir” They replied at the same time.
“You’re both on guard for Valarie and Angelo. Ashton, Tanya, Rosalin. You three are on watch out for any intruders or suspicious activity as I’m sure someone will come looking for them” They all nodded.
“Lastly Jenalo. Security cameras”
“As you wish” He said before they all left the room. I let out a sigh.
“It’s not easy being the leader of a group like this. They’re all so annoying. Speaking of annoyance I need to get back to school” And with that, I left the building.
Namjoon POV
“It’s been 2 days since Valarie was kidn*pped and we’ve still gotten nowhere. The frequencies in the tracking device I placed in her sock are getting interfered. I’m sure it’s still on her but unless I can figure out a way to remove the interference I won’t be able to pin point her exact location. We’re limited in time too. The tracking device can only be active for so long”
“Uhhhh this is so frustrating. God knows what they’re doing to her. She could be dead for all we know”
“Don’t speak like that Thoth. She told me to live so she better practise what she preached”
“I know I shouldn’t doubt her or our efforts but what more can we do?” He’s right. I nagged and nagged myself for not being able to come up with a plan but it suddenly hit me.
“Amun you can feel vibrations through your feet right?”
“Yes. What about it nerd”
“Brother watch your tongue” Isn’t he deaf? Oh Amun probably has his mind link open. I’m still shocked at how he learnt to speak without being abls to hear. “Please ignore him and continue Namjoon” I proceeded in my mind.
‘If I can overwrite the original frequencies and transmit them into the ground somehow, if you could feel and differentiate the stronger vibrations, bam. It’ll lead us right to Valarie’

“Brilliant idea” Thoth said unknowingly cut his brother off. “I knew you were smart but this is incredible”
‘Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. This plan only works if Amun can do it’

‘So that settles everything then Namjoon. Let’s get some well earned sleep now. Tomorrow’s going to be another tiring day of battles’ We stood up from the floor and I stretched my legs before climbing to the top of the bunk bed as Amun gave me a harsh glare because he had started sleeping on the floor now that I live with them. I don’t know why he’s so mad. It’s Thoth’s rules, not mine.
The lights came off and I just laid down thinking about the first day me and Valarie met. I found myself looking at her the whole lesson and whenever I had the chance to. She’s so smart unlike the rest of the people here at this school. She’s so beautiful too. Her brown eyes with a hint of white in them has me mesmerised every time I look into them. Her cute dimples that show when she even speaks makes me want to pinch them. I have to stop myself from bopping the tip of her cute nose. Her face as a whole is so fricking adorable. I just want to hold it in my hands and never let go. Wait what the hell am I even thinking? She sees me only as a friend and I see her as a friend too right? Do I?
Amun- Ra POV
It’s been about 2 hours since the others slept and here I am awake. I can’t ignore the feeling of being watched. Even now as I lay on the floor. I can’t feel anything through the ground but somethings not right. I sat up and got into a meditation stance. I closed my eyes even though I can’t see with them open anyway. I’ll just set up a quick but complicated magician barrier around this dorm. It should block any use of visional powers.
After 5 minutes I finished and opened my eyes. I quietly went back to sleep. If they know anyone’s awake in here who knows what’ll happen. They might kidnap us too. Don’t worry y/n, we’ll save you.

I held another meeting with the others today. Valarie went into a comma after Mia drugged her. It’s honestly concerning me. I’m worried for h- wait what? I’m not supposed to be worried. She deserves this. It’s the only way to achieve our plan. I need to put aside these strange feelings I have for her.
I just arrived at school and it’s midnight. Everyone should be sleeping so I had a group, whom of which all belong to the house of dragons, who specialise in infiltration and information acquirement to Amun-Ra and Thoth’s dorm. A bird told me Namjoon was staying there. He might know something that can help us because Angelo and I presume Valarie too are clearly not going to be giving us what we want. However they came back and said the mission failed. None of them could see inside the room using their X-Ray vision. They also couldn’t hear anything and that’s concerning considering they have the best ears in this entire world. Don’t think for one second you’re safe you three. The real fight begins in a couple months. Better be prepared. And with that I went to sleep.
Namjoon POV
Me, Amun and Thoth are now at the battle field for practise. Amun informed us of the disturbance yesterday. He’s so amazing to be able to feel things like that. And what can I do? My IQ is the only thing I have going for me. Even that seems to be failing me at the very moment I need it. I stand defeated in front of my sparing partner and I feel so weak. Powerless. The same emotions I felt one Valarie was drugged and kidn*pped right in front of my own two eyes. I’m such a disgrace.
‘Namjoon if you can’t beat this guy what makes you think you’ll be able to save Valarie’ Thoth said to me via mind link. My opens opened in realisation. He’s right. I need to stop complaining like a b***h and do something. I closed my eyes and started smelling the air.
“There” I punched the air to my left and felt a nose. Now pretty much broken upon my connection with it.
“H- h- how can you see me?”
“Don’t be ridiculous. See you? I wish” I said before sending another punch but to his stomach making him reveal himself as he had no more energy to turn invisible. He tried to kick my head with his left leg but but I lifted my right arm, blocked it before pulling him in close and I kneed him in the stomach. I bowed before getting out of the arena and high giving Thoth. I just smirked at Amun who returned it. He may act like he hates me but him and I both know he doesn’t.
“Nice match”
“Thanks Thoth” I signed before training to Amun. “You’re up next aren’t you? Go show them eyes are nothing but an accessory”
“Yeah yeah. You just sit back and take notes” He said before putting his hands in his pocket and walking into the arena.
Amun-Ra POV
I took my shoes off before stepping into the ring which confused my opponent. I can see, more like feel my surroundings much better with them off.
“Do you think taking off your shoes is going to return your vision?” She said before laughing.
“Do you think opening your mouth is going to allow you to breathe better?”
“What? I can breathe perfectly fi-“ I cut her off with an immediate kick to her stomach knocking the air out of her lungs.
“What were you saying? I didn’t quite catch that” She regained her composure with one hand resting on her stomach.
“B-but how? You must have lied about being blind all this time” I smiled before replying.
“Thanks for the compliment, let me return it” I vanished from her vision field and before she knew it I had her in a head lock. I added pressure to her wind pipe every growing second until she tapped out. I let go and walked out to greet a smiling Namjoon with his hand in the air. Yh I don’t like him but I figured I’d be nice for a quick moment. I lifted my hand and high-fived him before my smile disappeared.
“You really hate me that much huh?” He asked before laughing. I kept a straight face and just shrugged my shoulders. I looked at my brother and he signed to me;
‘Well done on holding back. I know it’s not always the easiest but we could end up killing some one’
‘Yeah. Some times being God’s is as much fun as listening to teachers go on and on about their personal life”
