The blue entrance to Sadie’s house turned orange as Alexander stepped in front of it. A clicking sound from a taxi aircraft startled him, but he quickly recovered. He placed his hand on the frame, the door slid open, and led him into the main hallway.
Strange noises emitted through the wall dividing the hallway and living room.
“Tell me how much you like that,” grunted Cam.
“I love it,” moaned Sadie.
Still processing the sounds, Alexander entered the living room to Sadie’s breasts bouncing on the sofa’s armrest while her robot thrust into her. The girl was touching herself.
Earthian or Aver, his reaction should have been the same as any other member of human society. He should have looked away and turned around as soon as he caught a glimpse of what was going on, but his feet did not move. It was wrong to stay, but the way Sadie’s body responded in ecstasy made his blood stream faster.
Unfortunately, the next thing that happened gave notice of his presence.
“Oh God, yes, make me yours Alex,” yelped Sadie.
“Alex?” he whispered his own name.
Her gaze followed his voice and she gasped.
“Oh, hello, Alexander of Singapore.” Cam smiled while continuing to shove himself into his master. He wasn’t sweaty or breathless, which made the situation more awkward. “Look, Sadie, it’s Alexander. Alexander’s here. Hey, Alex.”
“Cam, stop, stop!” Sadie covered her front side with a cushion.
“Have I not been performing well?” Cam stopped. “Would you like my p***s to be longer or smaller next time?”
“Solar-flair! Go get dressed and shut off.” Sadie propelled, scavenging for her clothes around the living room.
“Okay.” The Ai smiled and waved at her as his shaft became flaccid.
“I’m sorry.” Alex turned his head, still not wanting to leave.
“Solar-flair.” The girl brought her hand to her forehead. “I’m so sorry. I thought you were coming back late.”
“You said my name,” he said.
Sadie inhaled as if she was preparing to explain herself. But she said nothing, and instead fixed her eyes on the floor. The cushion and her dress were ineffective at covering her body. There was an awkward silence until she frowned at his chest.
“You’re bleeding.” She opened a small storage drawer under the sofa and pulled out tissue paper.
“I’m fine.” He smudged a drop of blood with the back of his hand off of his toga and wiped his knuckles on the tissue.
“What have you been doing?” The ridge on her forehead deepened, seeing the bottom of his dirty toga.
“My date punched me in the nose.”
“Oh, you chose a girl already. Good for you.” Sadie tightened her arm around her waist and squeezed the dress against her chest.
“Did you hear what I said? She punched me in the nose.” Alexander pointed at the dry blood on his tissue.
“I don’t judge if you like that stuff. Maybe you want to see her again.” She swallowed and looked away.
“Are you projecting?” he asked.
She met his eyes. “What?”
The man pulled the woman closer. His warm breath made her n*****s poke through her covering.
“Do you like it rough, Ms. Raleigh?”
Ms. Raleigh tried to fight his rising temperature.
“That question is very inappropriate, Mr. Singapore.”
“Is it? A minute ago you were saying my name.” His lips hovered above hers. His eyes focused on her intoxicating yellow irides.
“I’ve never,” she paused, “done it with another human.”
“And you want me to be your first.” He caressed her neck with a smirk.
Sadie jerked her lower lip.
“Tell me that you want me, please, because I’ve been wanting you since the moment I saw you.” He pressed her lower back tightly.
She pushed him away. “No. I can’t say that. If we have s*x, tomorrow you’ll forget about it, but I’m not like that. Though you might intend to court me, a relationship between us can’t happen.”
“You keep saying that, but why? I told you, I can help.”
He followed her to another area of the living room. She closed her eyes, then opened them. “I’m sterile. That’s why I didn’t get a marriage notice from the Human Federation. I’ve known since I was little. The Federation must give priority to healthy individuals. I mean, I could still get married to an old widower, but that means I’d be doing it because I have no other choice. This life is more simplistic.”
“Is that why you bought Cam?”
“Best investment I’ve ever made,” she said.
“I’m sorry, Sadie.” He wrapped his index finger around her pinky. “For what it’s worth, if you were one of the girls in my list, I’d choose you in a heartbeat.”
“Thank you.” Her cheeks flushed.
Alex walked toward the stairs. Despite his father’s connections to the Human Federation, he couldn’t marry a sterile woman. It was dishonorable to his family and the human race. They would never accept their union.
“Alex, wait.” Sadie released her arms and let the bundle of fabric fall to the floor.
A confused but horny Alexander observed the soft curves of her body. The girl scurried toward him and sucked on his lower lip. He squeezed her buttocks, then mounted her knees over his hips.
“Sadie, I don’t wanna hurt you,” he said, kissing under her jaw.
“It’s okay, Alex, I want this.” She unclipped the lion brooch on his toga.
He sat on the sofa, refusing to miss any details of her body while kneading her breasts. The small birthmark under her navel was so real unlike a robot. Little did she know that was his first s****l encounter with another human.
“How will you feel about this tomorrow?”
“Don’t worry about it.” Her tongue played with his earlobe.
“I’m serious.” He pushed her shoulders back and held her chin.
“I know I’ll wake up thinking about you. I’ll think about you for a long time, actually. But I’ve decided that’s better than not ever having you. There’s not a chance for us. At least we can imagine that everything is perfect for one night.”
“Then I’ll make sure it’s special.” He nodded, stroking her inner thighs.

Alexander laid on his side, wondering about Sadie’s silence after they had s*x. She kept staring at her bedroom ceiling and playing with some of her hair strands.
“I hope I didn’t disappoint you.” He rubbed the tip of his fingers against her forearm.
“It was different,” she whispered.
Different. That was equal to failure.
“I guess I can’t compete with a s*x robot.” He laid the back of his head over his palms frustrated at himself.
“No, I had never felt this before. It was deep and beautiful. No words can describe it. Thank you.” She threw one leg over his hips.
The man showed his perfect white teeth with overlapped canines. She found this, as Earthians loved to say, cute. Something within her chest began to beat, but it wasn’t her heart. The possibility of love was an extraordinary feeling she had never experienced before.
Alexander raised his arm and spoke into it.
“Command start, gravity off, command end.”
The tiles on the floor rotated and turned into a black rubber. Then everything in the room began to float. In the air, he pulled her toward him from under the sheets and held her tight. She positioned her leg over his as he caressed her lower back.

Sadie held her stomach bringing Alexander’s leather jacket into the unused kitchen.
“You left it on a chair in your bedroom. I noticed a stain, so I washed it.”
“What?” He snatched the jacket off her hand and pulled his grandfather’s paper gift from its inner pocket.
“It’s fine.” She chuckled. “I let it air wash in my closet.”
“I thought you Avers liked to use robots for everything.”
"Just because we like robots doesn’t mean we don’t see the value in automation.” Sadie cringed and held her stomach with both hands. “Solar-flair, I’m so hungry.”
Alexander pulled the corner cabinet before she got to it and opened one bottle. He gave her one of the transparent rings and took one for himself. They grabbed two silicone balls filled with water and sucked on them.
“You shouldn’t carry that around.” She pointed at the bright red paper with golden strokes.
“I don’t wanna lose it.” He stroked the top with his thumb.
“Your grandfather was important to you, wasn’t he?”
“He was always there for me.” He nodded.
She tilted her head and brushed her fingers through his short black hair. He closed his eyes, hypnotized by the contact of her skin. His feet turned to her, guiding the rest of his body toward her warmth. Her fingertips came down to his cheeks as he reached for the back of her hand.
“I’ve been to many places and I’ve never seen a being as beautiful as you.”
“Please, don’t say that.” She removed her hand. “Don’t let me feel more than I already am.”
“I’m sorry.” He looked at his grandfather’s gift again, rubbing faster until the upper layer of the strip peeled off. The man widened his eyes, thinking he had damaged the relic.
“Moonlanding,” he cursed himself.
“It’s going to be okay.” She rubbed his shoulder, then stopped to observe the unglued strip. She began peeling the material.
“What on Earth? You’re making it worse,” he said.
“No, look. It seems it’s supposed to be that way, like a pocket.” She pointed at the perfect edge seams.
As she unglued the flap, they uncovered more layers of paper inside, except the new layers were green. She tugged the strips, noticing a repeated printed pattern on each. They were rectangles of equal size with writing on each side and a human face in the middle.
“Wow, they’re beautiful,” she said.
“How come they’re all the same?” he thought aloud.
Cam entered the kitchen. “Hey, good old American dollars. Where did you get those?”
“Dollars? What’s Amerikandolars?” asked Alex.
Sadie raised her hand and spoke into her palm. “What are American dollars?” A board loaded over her fingers and a message appeared.
Sorry, no matching search results for Amerikandollars. Did you mean Eric Dolan?
“Cam, there’s nothing called Amerikandolars.”
“Then why would my maker add it as part of my sexy trivia programming?”
“Okay?” said Alexander. “What are Amerikandolars?”
“Somebody wants to play.” Cam smirked. “First, you have to guess and if you guess wrong, you’ll have to take off an item of clothing.”
“No, bypass the game,” said Sadie. “I want to know the answer.”
“Nuh uh.” Cam raised his index finger, “I’m not allowed to do that. That’s not how the game works.”
“Can you give us a clue?”
“Fine, here’s the clue. They may be used to buy but never to sell.”
“Used to buy. Never to sell,” repeated Sadie.
“It was an ancient form of currency kind of like Sagittarian bitcoins,” said Alexander.
“Yes, it was a type of Earthian money.” Cam took off his t-shirt. “I lost this round.”
“Interesting, but I’m kind of late for my appointment.” Alexander glanced at the clock hovering over his arm and hurried out of the kitchen.
Once again, Sadie held her stomach.
“Ugh, I guess I exercised too much last night.” She opened the bottle again and took another metabolic pill.
