It had been six hours since we followed the ambulance taking Tech to the hospital. After the initial tests, Tech was wheeled into surgery. It lasted for hours. He had to get multiple plates and screws to help hold his bones in place, and one of his numerous fractured ribs had punctured his lung. He was placed in the ICU because, while working on his lungs, he coded twice. I couldn't leave Vipe until I knew Tech would be okay. He looked so broken. I have never seen him like that before.
