CHAPTER NINE Jealous CurlsKit stretched out on her bed and wiggled her toes. A watery sun poked through a gap in the curtains, and she sighed with gratitude. “Two lie-ins in one week,” she mused. “Bliss.” Her digital clock revealed the lateness of the hour, and she pushed herself to a sitting position. She’d slept until lunchtime after her late night antics with Langdon’s hair. “Kit?” A light knock sounded on her bedroom door. “Are you decent?” “Yeah.” She plumped her pillows and leaned back against them, resisting the urge for another stretch.
