CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN Curly CreativenessThe choir tunic flapped around Kit’s shins as she tried to keep up with Jerry. He strode through the school gate after acknowledging a woman strolling around with children clinging to her hands and her skirt. His long stride carried him across the playground before Kit had taken decent stock of her surroundings. Children milled everywhere, eating, gesticulating and screeching about an invisible disaster.
