Radebe Mansion – Master Bedroom (Night)
Josh stood near the window, looking out into the dark estate. Lily sat on the edge of the bed, rubbing her temples.
Josh’s voice broke the silence, low and steady:
“You’ve been pushing too hard, Lily. Too far.”
Lily looked up, biting back a retort.
Josh turned slowly toward her, eyes sharp.
“This isn’t just about who belongs and who doesn’t.”
Lily’s breath hitched.
He took a step closer.
“There are things... things you can’t undo. Things I see even when you think you hide them.”
She stiffened but said nothing.
Josh’s gaze bore into her.
“You think this is about family pride? About keeping things ‘clean’? Maybe it is. But it’s bigger than that.”
A long pause hung between them.
He gave a slow, almost cruel smile.
“Make no mistake—what you do now, what you decide... it will come back to you. And I won’t be the one cleaning up the mess.”
Lily’s hands clenched the sheets.
Josh’s voice dropped even lower:
“Bring her back. Fix this, Lily. Before it’s too late.”
He turned and left the room.
Lily sat there, heart pounding, feeling the weight of those words—heavy with unspoken truths she dared not name.
