Christian alight from his car observing the strange environment . The police car also came to a stop and they all marched out.
" Check the map so we can track the exact place they are"
Christian only nodded and took out his phone.
" We should proceed in" He said and moved without waiting for the officers response. " Rose just wait for me. I'm coming to save you" He muttered as his heart banged along

" Wow, y'all are identical" Eshoe said timidly, tryna change the topic
" Where is Rose?"
" Oh!, Rose. She....... she" Debbie stuttered
" Please is there something you all aren't telling me" " Where is my sister" Rosina voice cracked.
SILENCE
The silence did not last for long. A vigorous kick opened the door as the voice echoed loudly.

Christian looked confused.
" No one here" He whispered to no one in particular
" They must be somewhere hiding. They probably heard our footsteps " A police said gently
Christian digged his fingers into his hair hissing angrily.
The lead of the operation signalled to the other police men and they scattered abroad pretending to search for the goons.
They were all gone aside Kay who stood still. He picked up his spare phone to dial his previous phone. He really need to get them and set Rose free. No matter what it'll cost him.
The phone vibrated and rang at a corner. The ringing sound alone is enough to scare Christian. That is, if he was going to be scared.
But no. He was determined.
Quietly, he traced the sound expecting to find a thug hiding there with his phone. But no. His phone was lone in the bush. No human or even an animal there.
The hair on his skin rose in anger.
" You mother fucker, where are you?. why are you hiding?. Are you really scared of me?. Just come out now. Come out and let's fight" He ranted assuming the maniacs were lurking in a hidden corner. He probably didn't know it's been planned.
Minutes later;
The police came out from different directions. Some sweating, some faking tiredness.
" There's no one here. They probably left the phone here for long"
" Yh. maybe after they used it to achieve what they want, they dumped it" another officer said
Christian wasn't convinced. He retrospected

He needs to act fast. The direction was changing. He picked his phone and called the officers. Shared the location with them so they can get there together.

" I wasn't hallucinating then. was I? " He thought.
" They probably have an informat cos I don't get it. They called hours ago with my phone. My phone have definitely been with them since they robbed me, why now of all times do they choose to dispose my phone." Christian assumed he was thinking. Maybe he was thinking loud.
" Oh!" The officers said in unison like they've rehearsed it for long. Christian turned to them unaware that he said it out and not in his mind.
"What?" He asked confused.
" We should leave here since they aren't here"
" But minutes ago, the phone was with them cos I saw their location shift in the map. How come they left like they knew we were coming?"
" You should answer that yourself" A officer said frustratedly.
" You brought us here to make a fool of us or what?" Another said
" We should go" Christian forced himself to say. Though he tried to hide the jiggery-pokery he noticed
Another officer look out his phone and typed
" Another agenda occurred. Add Christian to your plan so he doesn't win" He hit the green button.

A smirk escaped steel face.
" I knew you'll be here and I was right " He smiled wickedly glaring at Rosina who was clueless of what was happening.
" Sir, please I did nothing " Rosina pleaded looking at Rose friends like they could help her explain but none of them seem to notice. Everyone of them shivered aggressively
" You look cute when you act. " He grinned revealing dirty set of teeth." Carry her"
His goons obeyed instantly.
" Aaaah, please sir, I did nothing wrong. Why are you k********g me. I only came to........... " Rosina voice faded as they forcefully carried her out.
" what do we do now " Monica voice trembled badly
She got no reply
" I'm leaving " Ivy stood up and moving towards the stairs
" Same here. I'm fed up " Debbie forced herself up. " since no one would do anything about this matter" She added
" y'all aren't schooling again?"
She got no response
She took her phone with an attempt to dial a number but dropped it again and took up Rose phone.

My diamond. She dialled. Switch off.
She dropped the phone hissing loudly.
" God please lead" She muttered blindly

Christian drive back home was a blur of thoughts and hallucinations. He drove back to his compound and buried his face in his palm. Still in his car. He was like that for some minutes until a call interrupted.
" Hawfa " a husky voice said over the phone
" who's this " he said gently
instead of getting a reply, he heard the cry of a girl. The cry screamed louder in his ear than it actually is .
" Rose " He whispered " send me the address, I'm coming to get you out " He screamed over the phone
" Yh. I knew you'll come " The voice finally said
" I'll send you the address. Also, don't try anything stupid if you truly love her. Come alone. ". The caller hanged without hearing Christian response

They all laughed maniacally except some victims who were crying hard.
" I know he will come . it's really not hard to lure him. "
" I'm sorry you'll have to witness the death of your lover again. Just the same way you witnessed Fabian's death " Scorpion faced Rosina. They all assumed she's Rose
