Lillian

There he was standing near the door looking at me with those emeralds. If he was not the jerk with a single look I would have fallen for him but... stop... I came back to my senses when I see his arrogant smirk. I look to the other side.

" I see, you have a very good manner," he said while walking toward me.

" It was not my idea to work here for you " I replied.

If he wants to be a jerk like this not telling me the reason for our marriage then fine I will also show him what I can do. I will be strong from here onwards.

" you also got tongue I see..." he came behind me and place his hands on the arm of my chair. I can feel his breath on my neck his lips then it's moving towards my ear

" if you want to play game sweetheart then fine I will play along but be ready to burn " with a flash he turns the chair now I'm facing him. He started moving towards me. "Push him lily... push him.." but my body was not responding to that it was like I was hypnotized by him by his eyes, his smell...when he was just a few centimeters away from me...

" Avery! How many times do I have to... Matt" I heard Edward's voice makes us both look at him. He was standing there with a lost face when his eyes fall on me he took a sigh and ask " Matt come with me there is something..I want to talk " without wasting any second he and Edward went outside the room.

And I was sitting in the chair still processing the things that happened here.

It was completely turning me mad.

"Why are you doing this Matt," Edward asks when we reach my office.

Without giving any answer to him I turn myself towards the window.

" you are making things difficult. Not for us but you...Matt. you should make a deal with him as soon as possible. Otherwise, she will again fool you and if something happens to maria I'm not going to spare her life. "

I stood there silently. When he didn't get any response from me with a sigh he walk towards the door to leave but stop

" Do it fast because, in the end, you will be the one who gets hurt again " with that he went out.

Edward knows me very well than my other siblings. I know he had seen me in my pain, my down. when we lost our father he was the one who make me stand strong for the family. We were triplets, I was the eldest and Edward was the youngest between us we do have a sister Marianne. Then Chris, Danny, and last Ava. We were a happy family. Even though we didn't have a large house we were happy. Until my uncle died in an accident. Dad took CEO when we found that uncle's second wife was the one who killed him for making her son from her first marriage take our family business. So when Dad becomes CEO even when he had a workload he never misses our dinner talk. He was always talking to us before we all go to bed. But everything turns down when we started getting attention, our life was becoming more complicated where ever we go media was all around us even outside our school they would camp there and would take our pictures. Things were getting hard so dad sent us me, Edward, Chris, and Danny to my mom's cousin brother's house in Colorado.

There we met him Leonard my best friend and his sister Lillian.

A loud thundering sound brings back my memories. The memories that I was trying to forget.

I took a deep breath and exhale it and look at the sky it was becoming dark.

Like Edward said I want to make things right up. Others it's going to hurt me again and I'm not going to take that path ever again.

The file which I was looking at slipped from my hand when I heard the thunderstorm. I was getting an anxiety attack, suddenly the doors of my office opened and ave came with a coffee and ask me how the work I tried to mask my fear and smiled and node at her then she ask about my family and my life I was distracted and felt relieved because it helps me in diverting my attention, but it was only for a short period as the sound got so loud it was making me uncomfortable before I could calm myself I got a call from him.

'' come to my office "

I slowly went towards his office room and knocked on the door and when I didn't get any reply I knocked again but it was the same no response and so I stood there for a few minutes and when I turn to leave I heard "come in".

when I open the door of his office I fell in love with this room and it was so warm in here. when I heard his throat clearing I turn in his direction. there he was sitting on that majestic chair completely focusing on the screen without taking eyes from that

" Bring me a cup of coffee from starboard "

" what "

" Did you hear what I said bring be coffee from starboard ".

" you have a coffee machine here so make yourself " with that I turn but before I could open the door I was thrown to the wall and was trapped between him and the wall.

" How many times do I have to tell you don't talk to me like that ".

"I don't remember it " I replied to him.

He looks at me for a second then a devil smile formed on his lips god I wish I could wipe that from his face.

" Fine, did luke mention he was coming next month to visit you what would you do if I cancel his ticket he will not be able to meet his beloved sister right ".

" you will not "

" try me, darling," he said with a smirk.

I wish I could punch this jerk.

"I will bring your coffee, Mr. Wilson ".

" then go miss ray ".

I went to my office and took the umbrella. thankfully the rain had stopped and the thunder was also gone.

I ordered his coffee and waited near the window of the coffee shop and look outside admiring the beauty of the place then suddenly a sound make me turn my attention to this view.

" Excuse me miss, are you, Lillian "
