Chapter 10

Lillian

I sat near the window staring at the forest , A silent tear formed in my eyes when I recall the words he told me.

Worthless.... charity case...

He hate me..I don't know why he hate me this much.

It will be a lie if I told that his words does not effect me because it hurts it hurts me.... it hurt my soul..

"Ma'am.. Ma'am.."

I suddenly wipe my tears and turn towards the door. I see a maid look at me. It was actually first time they talk to me.

"Ma'am....Ma'am here is your lunch please do eat. Ma'am if "

"You can call me lily " I cut her without looking at her.

"And take this with you. I don't want anything "

"Ma'am..sorry lily I..please don't mad at us. It was sir order that we are not allowed to talk to you. Cameras are here everywhere so if we talk to you then , we will be fired. That's why we never talk to you. And even we are not allowed to enter your room." She said helplessly.

"Then how you enter now." I ask her

" Sir said us to gave you food and in the evening a party is hosting in here so the camera system is checking so we thought it's time to tell you these things.

"Um..." I hummed.

"Are we...forgiven Ma'am " she asked hesitantly.

"No.." I said

"We are very very sorry. Please do forgave us..maam ...please.we are not.."

"If you still calling me ' ma'am ' ,then I will not forgave you." I said with a smile.

"Ho sorry ma..no lily " she said with a smile.

"So we are forgiven, right?" She ask me.

I nodded. She squealed in excitement and said

"Thank you lily, and my name is ruth " .

" ok I will leave you and inform others that you forgiven us. You know they will be so happy when they hear this " she said happily and turn to leave. And I was also happy at least they love me,..unlike him who hate me. When I think about him my blood starts boiling.

"Ruth..will you take this I don't want to eat.i am not feeling hungry "

"No lily sir will be sad , if you don't eat . He asked us to take care of you" she said.

Wait....What! Sad!...He hate me then why?

"Did he really tell you that " I ask her

" yes..lily , he told us. He didn't want his sister in law to be gone starving. "

Ho it's chris..what you think he care for you... did you feel that he care for you. No lily no , he will not care for you..

"Um..ok . But ruth I don't really feel hungry so please take this. I will tell chris ." I said to her ,at first she hesitate then took the plate from the table and went out from my room.

I sit there and look at the nature. It's so beautiful.....it gave me a peaceful feeling. I was so broken inside but when I look at it, it gave me hope that one day every thing will be alright and also remembering the words that lukey said to me when I was sad " if you want to be happy in your life you have to create it by your own. Because happiness are not born but it's created, so smile.. ".

By remembering his words a smile formed in my face and it helped me to suppress this pain.

The scratching sound of tires makes me look at the main entrance. Then I see him getting out of the car. He was wearing a white shirt with blue jeans. His sharp jawline, straight nose, and mostly his emerald eyes make every woman's heart beat fast . His hair was displaced as he had run his fingers frequently. Even in that form, he looks ' good '. Uhh..but inside 'monster'. But still, he is so handsome. He is what every girl dreams about. But not me...

With a sigh, I turn to leave my place but stop when I see a beautiful woman getting out of his car. He then wraps his hand over her waist and gives a kiss on the side of her head as she is his precious diamond . The sight of seeing him with a woman gave me like adding salt to my wounds. Then I saw they were laughing and entered the main floor but he turned around towards my direction but quickly I hide behind the curtains. I again looked through the gaps, but this time, it was completely empty .

"Looking for someone, Mrs Wilson." A voice boomed behind my back.
