I woke up with my phone on my face, "huh?" Oh right.
Last night I stayed up pretty late, talking to Adam. I picked up my phone at and looked at the conversation we had.

I was just about to get ready, why? Is something wrong?
Adam
No, I just ..can't fall asleep.

Adam
It's fine. This person will get off on the next stop anyway.

I looked up and I saw him smiling, an expression I hadn't seen much on him. I started getting embarrassed again.
On the next stop, the person got out as always. And Adam sat in the seat next to me "hey" he said as he put his stuff down "hai" I answered, somehow it was hard to make eye contact.
We didn't really talk much during the ride to school, it felt kind of awkward. I couldn't wait to get lunch..

We got to school together and just talked, I followed him to his locker, and we were just waiting for the bell now, but I guess something had to happen to ruin my happiness
"NATHAN!!~~" there she was right on time. Emily jumped on top of me and we both fell over
"Emily, please stop jumping on Nathan" Ein said while he helped me get up. Daniel, helped Emily get up. "Woah" I hear Adam say, both shocked and impressed.
"Who's this ?" Emily asked, walking around Adam. "I'm Adam. I'm pretty sure we're in the same class." He answered "oh, yeah that's right...sorry" she apologized.
My friends all introduced themselves and we all talked, then the bell finally rang, and we all went to class.
When we went inside, someone immediately walked up to Adam and grabbed his arms "hey, where were you?" She asked "I'm sorry, I was talking with someone" he looked my direction and smiled.
"Who was it? Do I know them?"
"Why do you care? " she looked offended "I'm your best friend. I'm worried about you" she said letting go of him.
"Okay, class, quiet now. I know it's still early, but it's time to concentrate on school now, Rachel, personal problems can be solves during lunch, or even better, after school. You too Adam sit down please."
"Yes, sir" they both say. Everyone got to they're seats and the teacher begins.

An hour later it was finally time for my long awaited lunch with Adam, but this is not what I was expecting.
"So Adam, how did you and Nathan meet" Emily asked. "Well, we have the same bus home." He answered.
"Oh...well, that's boring" she said laying down on the floor, "not all meetings are interesting" Ein commented, "Yeah, but I was hoping for something juicier"
"Well, there was that time that he dragged me into that classro-" I put my hand on his mouth before he could finish. "huh! What were you about to say?"
"nothing! It's...nothing" I said. "But this sounds interesting" my face was looking down "it's nothing"
she rolled into a position so she could see my face "oooh~ are you sure it was nothing? You're blushing like crazy" she smirked. "Ah- y-yeah.. it's nothing" I looked over at Adam, was he blushing too?
"Anyway, Emily, right?" Adam asked "Yes?" She answered tuning her head towards him. "You say, our meeting wasn't 'interesting' how did you guy meet?" He asked, continuing his lunch.
"Uhm.. I don't think we should go into that" Ein suddenly said "why not" Daniel asked "you don't know?" Ein asked confused.
Daniel shook his head. "That's right we never told you" I said "I want to know" Daniel stated. "Well-"
Before she could begin her 'interesting' story, of how we met, she was cut off by the bell. "Awe.."

After school before we went to the bus stop, I stopped Adam "wait!, c-can I ask you something?" He looked at me "Yeah? What..." I got nervous and I could feel my face getting red.
"Is something wrong" he got closer to my face, I stepped away. "n-no..Uhm.." he looked confused
"what did you want to ask" .. I took a deep breath and calmed down...why is this such a hard question to ask? "W-would you like to come to my place today?" He looked surprised..and after a moment he also turned red.. was he embarrassed? Or just nervous.
"W-what?" He took a step back.."Yeah..I kind of wanted to be alone with you for a bit...but my friends..well you know" he looked at me and was silent for a bit.."y-yeah..sure" he said, facing the ground.
"Really?!"
Why was I so happy?
"Y-Yeah, But we gotta go or we'll miss the bus, I'll tel my mom in the way...t-to your house" he looked up and smiled, still blushing pretty hard.
