I merely prayed that everything returns to normal following tomorrow's press conference after hanging up with Grayson. When I arrived at the office the following day, everyone was either glancing at me or whispering behind my back. However, I was making every effort to ignore them and get on with my own task.
Daisy and I walked to the cafeteria at lunchtime, where there were other staff members also. They were staring at me the entire time I was there, and this time I could even hear everything they had to say about me.
“How could Grayson be attracted to her?”
“Yeah really, she is a mother of three and Grayson is infatuated with her?”
