(Grayson’s POV)
Leo opened his eyes the moment I came out of the bathroom, which made me delighted and it was encouraging to learn from the doctor that he is currently doing well. It was the first time I had ever seen any of my children wounded when I wasn't even present to protect them, so I was really worried about him.
I just sat on the chair next to him as he fell back asleep after I stroked his head when Eliana went to the toilet. I was so focused on my son's peaceful slumber that I failed to see anyone else walking in.
“Who are you?” I snapped out of my reverie and turned to face the person who had spoken to me from behind.
“Grayson Scott!” He shouted my name as if he hadn't expected me to be here as I fully turned to face him.
“Uh, yes but who are you?” I posed the same inquiry
