June The rest of the meeting goes smoothly. There are questions, but they’re practical ones—territory, trade, seasonal concerns—nothing that feels like an interrogation. Ronan handles most of it with his usual calm authority, stepping in when necessary and letting silence do the rest of the work when it isn’t.
