Chapter IV:The bad and The Good Karma

When Adrian first day on his work. he so nervous, he arrived late, because he sleep very well.

In the building

There was an elevator when Adrian rushing he don`t notice that the elevator using for only their boss.

When he in elevator someone walk in too and smile Adrian suddenly stun and he don`t know what to do so when the lady ask to touch the elevator floor Adrian notice it is the same of the floor he was going.

Adrian awkward at the elevator and saying hi

The lady smile

When the elevator open, Adrian rush to the manager who hire him

The manager said “you`re late your first day salary was lessen it because your late”

Adrian down and saying sorry and accept it.

But Adrian was clever he bring foods to sell it to his all co worker

Then the manager said “what was that for?”

Adrian said “it was for our co worker who hungry and busy in their work so they don`t go outside just to eat and I know maybe it will reason to them to be late”

The manager amaze and said he ask if he will fee for the food or he will deduction his salary

Adrian mad and he will give it free for their manager

When Adrian working their boss walks out at the office because the boss office are near in the manager office so someone report it to the boss his name was Athena

Athena report the argument of Adrian and the manager that their manager syndicate Adrian for the food

When the boss know that she walks out and hear it for herself and that`s the true so she walk again to her office just to know that the manager is the one who syndicate all of her co worker.

Then the bosses walk out and go to the manager

When Adrian doing his job well he see the boss the one who walk out on the office and he notice she the one who walk in on the same elevator, and he saw she going to the manager office.

After 15 minutes Adrian was call to the manager office and he knew that the elevator was only for the boss

So Adrian in on the office and saying sorry to the boss repeatedly

Then the boss smile

And said “you will be the manager here, and you need to serve all co worker`s like you”

So Adrian not knowing he is the one who talking because the boss eye was on the manager

Then the manager react “I am sorry I will not do it again”

Adrian confuse

Then the boss said “Adrian you will be the manager”

Adrian shock and said why

The boss replied “I know you see it and I know you have a good heart so I will promote you today”

And the boss said to the old manager that he will work on the Adrian`s work

It`s like they swap the position Adrian is on the manager and the old manager is on the normal position

Then the boss said only one thing she don`t like, asking her name

And Adrian was scared and curious

When the boss walk out on the office

The old manager was angry to Adrian

The old manager “do you said it to our boss?”

Adrian say “no, why would I do that? It`s my first day and I don`t know our boss and the one thing is when I go out the boss walk in to you so what`s will be the reason?”

The manager walks out on the office and said “I will tell it to my dad”

Then Adrian was happy and curious because he is the one now will be the manager

So when Adrian walks out on the office everybody surprise him

And Adrian ask why

Athena said “the manager before was always syndicate us, so I am the one can`t accept so I tell it to our boss

Adrian confuse cause he don`t know the work of being a manager then Athena smile that she will help him.

Adrian was surprise after the day end he calls sharian to tell that he promoted as a manager

Adrian “hello sharian”

Sharian “what it is?”

Adrian “I have a joke”

Sharian “what it is? You sure that I will be happy for that joke Adrian huh”

Adrian said “there`s a two restaurant fighting the one is clean but high price the one is dirt and low price, what will you choose?”

Sharian “I will choose clean even its high price”

Adrian said he saying of the high price restaurant was “sobrang linis na medyo mahal” while the low price was “mura na madumi pa” than the restaurant more clean, it taste like a dishwashing soap because its super clean while the low price was dirt it is because delicious that made it on hands.

And sharian was not notice the joke but when she realize she made him smile.

So Adrian gave choice again

Adrian said “sharian where do you want to eat?”

Sharian “I want to eat in the restaurant with a low price”

Adrian “you said that huh? Okay I will wait you in carenderia this 6pm night, I’ll wait you, see you”

Sharian “mad because she can`t denied, it cause Adrian was over him”.

After the work

In the restaurant sharian make a joke while ordering their food, Adrian was talkative about his job while he was talking Shania stop the conversation and ask something

Sharian “Adrian, if it has an event of the fastest going home, who is the fastest the turtle or the rabbit?

Adrian said “uhmm only in the ground?

Sharian “yes”

Adrian “well it is the rabbit”

Sharian laugh loud and explained it is the turtle because it`s carry their own home

Adrian absolutely blank and think about it and get it and smile that he didn`t notice that joke

So they`re eating while talking and Adrian can`t over that joke,

Cause he read the story about the rabbit and the turtle that they were event of racing the turtle was the winner because the rabbit sleep in the near of the racing near the finish line while waiting the turtle,

But in the joke he try to team in rabbit cause better than two the rabbit was the fastest to go home if they were talk about land and sea.

While paying the bills Adrian was paying but sharian stop her

And ask Adrian

Sharian “the food was good or bad or it`s nice?

Adrian “I am hungry and it so delicious, but my favorite dish was daingsilog but sorry my budget is only for us”

Sharian smile and say

Sharian “please don`t pay”

Adrian react “why, it`s needed”

Sharian reply “no need, can you notice?”

Adrian “whats that?

Sharian down because Adrian didn`t notice that the restaurant they were eat was sharian family business, then sharian explain the question joke that the turtle was her, while Adrian didn`t connect the joke or the question that sharian give, he only knew that all employee congrats him and sharian introduce that the restaurant they eaten was their family own.

So Adrian shock and shy

Then all was partying because sharian knew that Adrian has no money to celebrate so she understood the joke of him.

The rest of sharian and Adrian are well good and they started their life..
