Overall, the game (and day) induced my body and brain to be completely—utterly—fatigued…I needed my blankie and pillow to go nap-nap.
Brandon and Courtney were the first to leave. They affirmed they needed some “alone time” together, but we all knew what that was. Shortly afterwards, Trinity and Dawson departed, although I didn't actually see them go—I was too busy sitting near the shore, right where the tide would recede back and forth, viewing the splendid sunset majestically descend to that distant horizon with flaming rays of glorious golden that sparkled upon the glistening blue waters to pierce their unfathomable deeps, like I had seven years before with my mother.
