Part #10

Delilah ~

Walking in the mall was good, but the stare from everyone, guys and girls, aren't. I've heard a few crude comments on how I'm a 's**t' or I need to 'put some clothes on'. I hate when people make comments like that but they're the ones who also are wearing belts and calling it a skirt. They're only jealous that the guys are looking at me, not them and the plastic they fill themselves with. 

"Let's go in here!" And another old person store Caroline pulls me in to. Don't get me wrong, there is nice clothes but there could be a bit more revealing for what I'm planning on doing. While looking our the window I find a*****e that catches my eye. 

"Hey Caroline, I think I'm gonna go look in that store." I don't even hear her reply as I'm already walking into the store. It's got a dark grunge, s**t vibe and I'm loving it. All the clothes are short enough for me to complete what I need to, but also not short enough to reveal all of my assets all of the time. I walk through the store and pick up anything I find that I think will look good on me. I try everything on, from skirts, to shorts, to tops, to shoes, anything that I find and fit me nicely, I brought it. My total came to like two hundred dollars, which really isn't that much for the amount of clothes I brought. 

I keep on going into any store that catches my eye and buying all the clothes I can carry. I've got at least twenty-five bags and I still feel like I could shop more. 

"DELILAH!" I turn and see Caroline running towards me with a hand over her heart. 

"Gosh dear don't do that to me, I have been looking for you for the past three hours. We have to get home now, Leonard's beginning to worry." I nod and begin to walk back to the car with the bags. We have to put them between the hood and the backseats of the car as it can't fit all in one. 

When we pull into the driveway of the house, Leonard walks over to us and says,

"Michaels inside, I told him not to come but he said he wanted to speak to the both of you." I roll my eyes and get out the bags from the car. I go in the front door and begin my journey up the long stairs when I hear Michael growl out, 

"Where the hell have you been?!" I don't even acknowledge him as I continue walking up the stairs.

"I asked you a question Delilah!" I still don't answer him and continue to walk up the stairs. He growls once again and grabs some of the bags causing them to fall out of my hands. One of the shirts falls out and he picks it up and guess what, he growls again. 

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!" I look at his hand as if I'm studying the answer and I snap back sarcastically,

"A top?" 

"I mean what the hell is this thin piece of fabric that would barely cover anything on a person?"

"It's still a top." I yank it out of his hands and continue up to my bedroom. As I'm about to close my door a very angry Alpha steps through it.

"What do you want now? I have better things to do than to-" and he kisses me. Right then and there. I try to push him away but it's like I can't, no matter what. I end up giving in and kissing him back for about zero point three seconds until I realise he f****d another girl yesterday and didn't even apologise for it. I shove him off with all the force in me and glare at him.

"You have no right to come into my room after you had i*********e with another woman and not even apologise for it." My voice comes out but it barely sounds like a voice, it sounds more animalistic and I know that my dragon is about to show itself. With the reaction from Michael I can tell he sees something is wrong.

"Delilah what's wrong with your voice?" He looks a bit scared but I shrug him off and storm out of the house and into the woods. I make sure no one is following me and once I am sure I shift and start flying through the sky. After twenty odd minutes my dragon, witch and human side are calm enough for me to take an actual deep breath and think of what happened. How dare he come into the room I sleep in and kiss me? And without even apologising for having s*x with another girl? He doesn't deserve me and I'm going to remind him of that every second of every day, until he snaps and rejects me. 

I land softly on the grass and shift into human form again. I will a pair of sweats and a jumper on me and make my way back to the house. As I reach the backyard Caroline runs out the back door and pulls me into the tightest hug ever.

"Oh dear don't do that again, do you know how worried I was? And where did you go?" I look back at the door and see Michael standing with Leonard.

"I'll tell you later." I whisper softly in her ear. She nods and I think she understands what I mean. We then walk back to the house, with her arm around my shoulder and my head rested on her shoulder. We walk straight past Michael and Leonard and up to my room. I lie on the bed and she pulls the blanket over me. 

"Now you relax darling, I'm going to make you some chicken soup to make you feel better ok?" I nod and give her a light smile. Michael walks into the room but she totally ignores him, walking out the door not giving him a second glance. Michael walks right in and sits on the bed but I chose to ignore him, staring at the window in front of me instead.

"You've really got everyone here on your side. My parents, my beta, most of the pack once they heard your little outburst." I still don't look at him.

"Hmm, nothing to say? That's fine, but jut listen to me good. I won't have you coming here and making my pack believe in your little thing you've got going on. Making everyone pity you because they probably couldn't care less about you but then they see you and your scars and think 'oh she must've had a hard life let's give her pity' but to me. I won't ever pity you and those scars you probably gave yourself. Did you give yourself those scars?" I don't answer.

"ANSWER ME!" I still give him the cold shoulder.

"You are so pathetic and weak and I wish the Moon Goddess didn't give me you as a mate." That's when Caroline walks in the door and hears what he says. She walks right over and slaps him on the face. 

"You will never ever talk about your mate like that again. You should be grateful enough to have a mate as strong, beautiful and smart as Delilah. Now get out of my house." He looks shocked and tries to defend himself.

''Mum I didn't-" 

"No I don't care. Get out of my house and I don't want you back in it until you start loving this gift the Moon Goddess has given you." He has a sad look on his face as he looks to his father to see if he'll defend him. His father shakes his head taking his mates side. Michael looks shocked but then storms out of my room. The second the front door slams shut Caroline starts crying so I get up and hug her. She is kind of shocked but then hugs me back. Leonard too joins the hug, and we stand there for maybe fifteen minutes, until I realise something. I finally found my family.
