Part #7

Delilah ~

I'm now flying back over the pack house and I can see Michael yell at a lot of wolves and I vaguely hear my name being mentioned. Oops guess I was gone longer than I should've. I go back to the secluded spot from before and land there as softly as I can. I throw my bag to the side of a tree and think about what my parents use to tell me about your first shift and how to change back. I have to think of myself as a human and wait for the magic to happen. Get it, magic? Anyways, so I started thinking of how I was as a human and I could gradually feel my bones pop back into place. Soon I was in my human form, butt n***d, so I willed some clothes onto my and made sure I didn't just change into a giant dragon before walking to grab my bag. I climb into a tree and hop from one to the other getting close to the pack house wanting to see what's happening. When I get about three trees away from being able to be seen by people, I stop and listen to what is being said.

"Alpha maybe we should just leave her out there I mean it's not like she wants to stay here, she's a rogue. Plus she's human, how is a human going to lead the strongest group of super naturals in the world?" That's a bit of a stretch but I don't say anything.

"NO, she is MY MATE and she WILL come back whether it be forcefully or not! If you find her and she refuses to come back, d**g her, knock her out, bind her I don't care just BRING HER BACK TO ME!" Um I think the f**k not. That's when I see Leonard and Caroline standing behind Michael and when he says that Caroline gasps.

"You would really kidnap and e*****e your mate for your own selfish reasons, and your not even going to be faithful to her?! This is not the son I raised and I expected better from you. She is trying, or should I say was, trying to fit in, even if it was in baby steps! You have made me ashamed to call you my son and Alpha right now, and when you find Delilah, she is going to be staying with us if she comes back." Michael looks hurt, sad and shocked at the fact his own mother would basically say she would put him up for adoption if he wasn't twenty one because he's not a good mate or alpha. I smirk, another point to me Alpha. 

I think I've made them worry enough so I jump from my tree and walk into the open but very stealthily and no one seems to notice as their eyes are on Michael and Caroline. I walk right next to Caroline and put an arm around her shoulder and she looks spooked that I'm here then she hugs me, and I don't pull back but I don't exactly hug her back.

"Thank you Caroline for sticking up for me towards your douche of a son. I would be honoured to stay with you but only if Leonard is comfortable with it." She looks to him eagerly and he nods his head with a slight smile. There is a very loud growl from behind us. I turn and look to see Michael on the brink of shifting. He takes a deep breathe and then yells to the pack to leave us. They do immediately cause he looks kind of scary, not to me but I'm not scared of a lot of things.

"So you run off for hours without anyone knowing where you are, then you get my mother to basically disown me in front of my pack and now you're going to be staying with them? EXPLAIN WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR EVERYONE, MY BETA AND PARENTS INCLUDED TO TAKE YOU SIDE?!" I shrug and answer smartly

"I'm not an asshole unlike you and I treat my people with respect, you act like you're too good for this world and that you're a God who has graced us with his presence. I would never desecrate the holy mate bond that the Moon Goddess has blessed us with while you're out here blackmailing me, forcing me to stay here even though I was unhappy because you had the one valuable thing in my life, and then you go f**k another girl, and on my birthday too? I must be so lucky to have been selected to have been handcrafted just for you." We glare at each other while his mother gasps.

"Y-y-you slept with another girl? ON HER BIRTHDAY?! YOU ARE NO SON OF MINE BECAUSE I WOULD NOT HAVE RAISED SLEPT WITH ANOTHER GIRL AFTER FINDING HIS MATE! Come one dear, you can grab your things and we'll make our way to your new house." Caroline wraps her arm around my shoulders and I let because it's been so long since I've had someone comfort like this. 

"I have all of my things in my bag already Caroline so there's no need to pack anything." She looks at my bag and shakes her head.

"Oh no dear that wont do. Tomorrow morning when you're all well and rested up we will go shopping for more clothes and we can..."

Michael ~

I watch as my mother and Delilah walk off leaving me with my dad. I look at him and he shakes his head at me.

"What?" I scoff at him.

"I can not believe you would betray your mate, the gift from the Moon Goddess herself and then try to control and change her. You may be my son, but I'm on team Delilah right now." And then he walk off too, Seriously what is it with people walking off. I stay where I was standing for a second before going back to the pack house. I go to my office and Janice is in there, on my desk, in nothing but lingerie. If this was a week ago, I would have taken her over and over again on my desk, but now I have a mate and my parents are basically on the edge of disowning me because I did sleep with Janice.

"What are you doing in here?!" I bark at her. She looks a bit shocked but then puts on a seductive face.

"I'm here to please you Michael, isn't that what you want, to be pleased?" I do want to be pleased but it can't be by her, it has to be by Delilah. The only reason I got hard before was because I thought of Delilah and her curvaceous body and all the ways I could take her.

"No, now get out." She doesn't leave and instead is walking straight towards me.

"I know you want me Michael, there is no point in denying it." She put her hand on my crotch and when she doesn't feel a hard on she tries to rib it again but I yank her hand off and lead her to the door.

"I have a mate and if you want the chance to ever meet yours then I suggest you get the f**k out of my face and put some damn clothes on!" I growl and she scurries away. I go back into my office and take out some whisky and vodka and start drinking my problems away.
