Badass Rogue and Her Alpha Mate

Part #9

Delilah ~

I push on her shoulders, trying to wake her up.

"Caroline, please wake up!" She doesn't move so I send a little jolt of electricity through her and she starts to wake up. 

"Gosh what happened to my head?'' She sits on the couch and I bring her over a glass of water. Devon is still here, just standing in the back corner of the room.

"Caroline, you fainted after you saw my brother. I wanted to introduce him to you both. Come on Devon." I motion for him like a baby to come forward and he scowls at me.

"I'm your big brother Delilah, don't try to boss me around." Caroline gaps and before she passes out again I reassure her,

"It's fine, he's not alive or anything like that! I just conjured him so you could meet him." I reach my hand back to Devon and he takes and steps forward. Then he let's go of my hand and slings his arm around my shoulder.

"Hi, my name is Devon, but you may call me DJ, it's very nice to meet you both." He says with a massive smile and reaches his hand out. Leonard and Caroline look like they aren't sure of if they can touch him or if he'll turn to smoke so I reach forward and grab Leonards hand and place it in Devon's. 

"There see, he's not a pile of smoke." Caroline then goes to shake his hand but at the last minute pulls him in for a hug. Devon hugs back as he has always been a hugger.

"Ea quae est nice quod non est?" I hum in response. [Translation - she's nice isn't she?]

"You can speak another language?" Caroline asks. I nod.

"I can speak four, and I'm learning my fifth."

"How can you learn a fifth if you have been a rogue for so long?" This time Leonard asks.

"Well I learnt the first three languages before we were kidn*pped, then they taught me the fourth one whilst I was there, and as for the fifth I have found a spell which helps me to speak languages and now I'm just trying to learn one with the help of that spell."

"What languages can you speak dear?" Caroline you are very very curious.

"Well I can speak Latin, Italian, French, and German and the language I'm trying to learn now is Mandarin  ." We continue talking like this for ages and Devon stays with us the whole time. I think he really like them and enjoys their company. I do too, even with all the questions Caroline asks. 

It's three in the morning when we all start feeling tired, so I say goodbye to Devon and good night to Caroline and Leonard before heading up to the room they provided me with. I have a quick shower, and change into some pyjamas. I fall asleep pretty quickly, which has always been a habit of mine. 

The next morning I wake up and I decide on a little plan I'm going to do. I'm gonna make myself the baddest b***h there is and get back at Alpha Michael. I'm gonna do a spell that I only ever used if I was desperate, it's a spell that can make money appear. I'm gonna make loads of money and then waste it all shopping on slutty outfits. I'm also going to do another spell I was scared to do. This spell will get rid of my scars so I'll have the clearest skin ever. I did it to a scar I had on my face once, but it took me so much energy to do I was knocked out for almost three days. But I was weaker and less experienced then, now I know I can do it, even if it's bit by bit.

I walk into the kitchen and find Leonard cooking breakfast and Caroline is sitting at the bench drinking coffee. 

"I didn't expect to see this in the morning. I for sure thought Caroline was the cook." I say as I sit on the stool next to Caroline. Leonard scoffs at the stove where he's making bacon and eggs.

"I love Caroline but I wouldn't want her to cook any of my meals." Leonard smiles as he says this and Caroline throws a spoon at him.

"You can't say that about me Leonard, I am your mate!"

"I know you are sweetheart and I love you and everything about you, just not your cooking skills." She scoffs at him then goes back to drinking her coffee. I like how they're like this, very in love, only if their son wasn't such a tool then maybe this could've been us one day, but who needs men?

"Caroline today I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping?" The second the word shopping comes out of my mouth she squeals and claps her hands together.

''Oh dear you don't know how long I've wanted to have a daughter to go shopping with! Michael never wanted to go with me and Leonard hates anything to do with the mall. Oh this is going to be so much fun!" I laugh and agree with her just as Leonard sets the plates in front of us.

"Thank you." I say to him and he nods confirming that he heard me. I finish all the food pretty fast then inform them I'm going to have a shower. After I finish washing my hair I shave all of my bits and then put on a very nice outfit. It's a pair of skinny ripped black jeans and a tight red tube top with a black bomber jacket over it. I also wear a pair of black combat boots and then go downstairs where I can hear Caroline calling for me. I reach downstairs and she basically drags me out the front door and into her car. On the way there she keeps on talking about all the stores we're going to visit and exciting it's going to be. 

When we pull into the parking lot she finds a spot right at the front so we park there and get out. Walking I realise I've never been to a mall before, so this is going to be fun.
