Chan's POV
"Chan! Why did you leave me there?" He asked me as soon as I left the clinic. I was confused right now because of everything that he says. I don't know if he's telling the truth or he's just making me fall for him and he'll leave me hanging after. Argh.
"I just don't know how to react about what you've said."
"You don't have to react anything." He replied, making me pause from walking. He puts his hands on his pants' pocket an looked straight on the road.
"I am just telling what's in my mind and I don't care if you'll refuse it or not. I just want to protect you, really." Gosh, Lucas.
"O--okay." I don't know how to respond. He's making me more confused about what he''s saying right now.
"Chan, have you experienced having a date?"
"What?!"
He looked at me and smiled. "You know like going out with someone, eating street foods, shopping, going on an arcade." Why is he asking me all of this suddenly?
"Uhm.. No."
"Do you want to experience it?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Come on, you are going to be really busy for the coming weeks because of your practices for the upcoming foundation day of the University. Unwind when you can and relieve those stress." Is he really serious? "Let's go!"
"Hey! Where are we going?!" He just suddenly grabbed my hand and walked, heading to somewhere.
"Just trust me. We are going to have fun!"
"Hey!" Aish. This guy is really impulsive and reckless. He does what comes into his mind right away and he doesn't think about the consequences that might come his way. To be honest, I really envy him because even if he's living a life alone, he seems really happy with his life. I wish I would have that life.
After few minutes of walking, we have reached the stall of street foods and it seems really delicious. I gulped with the sight of the foods being cooked. It smells good.
"Get what you want, my treat!"
"Where are you getting all of your money?"
"Don't worry. My brother is giving me allowance every week and I saved some from it so I have extra money." He smiled at me from ear to ear and got some hotdog on stick then took a bite on it. "Whoa! Heaven!"
"Tch." I took one as well and took a bite on it. It has been a while since I ate something like this and it's really delicious!
"Oh my bad. I shouldn't brought you here." He suddenly uttered while chewing his food.
"Huh?"
"Ballerinas like you must take care of their health."
"It's okay. I can manage myself. Besides, I am healthy."
"Really huh?"
"Of course!" I laughed a bit and continued eating. It's really delicious and having someone to eat with is really fun.
"Is this really what you'll do on a date? Bringing your girl to eat street foods?" I teased Lucas.
"Why? Is there a problem with that? I want my girl to experience a simple life. It may be simple or cheap for some but it's fun right?" My girl? Well, he has a point.
"Well, you have a point."
"Aigoo. I am full already." He burped which made the old man who was at the stall laugh a bit. "Thank you, grandpa." He paid for the food we ate and we bid goodbye to the old man. I became full as well, thanks to the street foods. Haha!
"Where are we going next?" I asked him.
"Arcade."
We played all kinds of games at the arcade. I became really happy because Lucas was also enjoying himself. He was really fun to be with that I forgot all of the things that was bothering me. He even caught a stuffed toy at the toy crane and he gave it to me. It was a cute ballerina stuffed toy and he even said that it looks like me. I was a bit embarrassed. Aish. I don't really know how to react on his sudden words. It makes my heart flutter and I admit that today, he became really attractive.
"Thank you for today." I said as I reached our house's gate.
"You don't have to say thank you."
"I mean it. Going out like that made me forget the things that bother me."
"I wish you can go out like that often, even if it's not with me." Huh? Why is he saying that all of a sudden?
"Hm. Let's see. I might not want to do it unless it is you." He just smiled at me when I said that. "I--I'll go inside. Thank you again."
"Sure."
"See you tomorrow?"
He nodded at me as a response so I went inside then straight to my room. I threw myself on my bed and stared at the ballerina stuffed toy that we got from the toy crane.
"It really looks like you. I will get that for you."
"That's hard! We will spend too much time for that."
"Eyy. Just watch me!"
He was too full of himself but I can tell that he's really a gentleman. The first time I saw him, I really thought that he's someone who will be my enemy because he's annoying but he proved me wrong. He's a thoughtful guy.
Lucas' POV

I had a date with Chandrea. It was a friendly date but why can't I forget her smile and laugh? You said that I must show her true happiness. It was part of my mission to make her find her genuine happiness and to make her experience true love. I am near to fulfilling my mission. I made her go back to dancing ballet which she really loves and I think she also find her fate, Alex. I was constantly reminded that I shouldn't have extra feelings for her. But why am I feeling this way? I am becoming afraid that the nearer I get to fulfill my mission for her, the nearer I get to leaving her alone.
Chan's POV
A new day came and we are here again at the dance studio for the performance practice. Our director told us that he will be late for a few minutes so I was asked to facilitate the practice. We had our warm up first before performing the routine we are going to perform for the foundation day.
"Are you really confident about performing Giselle, Chandrea?" Reina asked me while we are having a little break from the practice.
"Why are you suddenly asking me that?"
"I just want to remind you that your position as the prima ballerina is not permanent so you have to be really careful." What is she trying to say? Calm yourself down, Chandrea. You don't want to start a fight with Reina.
"As the prima ballerina, I am fully aware of what you're trying to say Reina. Thank you for the concern but I won't give Giselle up."
"What's going on here?" Alex came between us which made Reina paused from speaking.
"Nothing. I am just reminding Chan, to be careful. We don't want to lose a very powerful prima ballerina." Reina responded and went back to the dance floor to warm herself up.
"Is she bothering you?" Alex asked me.
"No. You don't have to worry Alex. I can handle myself."
"You know that I am here for you, Chan. Right? You can always tell everything to me." I smiled and nodded at him.
"Thank you but I can really handle myself Alex. I don't want to bother you with anything."
"Chandrea, I like you and I want to protect you." He held my hand tight which made me a bit surprised so I let it go and looked at him seriously.
"Why are you confessing to me all of a sudden?"
"This may sound childish but I saw you and Lucas yesterday. You were really having fun with him and it made me jealous. Chandrea, let me take care of you." Geez. Why is he making things really complicated? I don't know how to answer him! I am not prepared for this.
"Good afternoon, Corp's!" Our director entered the studio all of a sudden; gosh! My savior!
As soon as our director settled himself at the studio, he instructed us to go back to practicing and perform our routine with him watching.

"Lucas?" He was leaning against the wall beside the door of the ballet studio and I saw him immediately as soon as I went out of practice. "What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"I just felt the need of fetching you here."
"You don't have to fetch me. Everyone is suspecting that you are my boyfriend." I whispered. Everyone is looking at us suspiciously.
"Why? Don't mind them. Remember what I said? I want to take care of you and protect you." He whispered back. Is he really serious about that?
I grabbed his hand and dragged him away from the ballet studio. He's acting really weird lately.
"You know what? You are acting really strange lately. What's the matter? Is someone trying to get rid of me or kill me?"
He suddenly became quiet as soon as I asked him.
