Chapter 8: You are mine

I was dragged out of the dungeon all the way to my bedroom where Soren slammed the door shut. He turned around to look at me, "I told you to stay away from him Arya!"

"I don't see what's so wrong with going down there." I folded my arms over my chest and stared him down, I was old enough to defend myself incase anything were to happen. Not that I could imagine anything would, I felt rather safe with the fae. "You don't see what's so wrong with it?" Soren scoffed and began laughing to himself. "He could have hurt you Arya, I told you he's dangerous!"

He walked towards me and cupped my cheeks in his hands, "I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you. You should have at least asked me to come with you." I knew he was right, despite the feelings of safety I had around the fae, I didn't know him, and he could have hurt me after trying to get close to me.

"Your right." Was all I could say as I hung my head facing my feet. Soren sighed and pulled me into a hug, "It's alright, I'm just glad I got there in time." He lifted my chin so that I was facing him and he gently kissed me. He pulled me closer to his body, tightening his grip around my waist. "F*ck, you make it so hard for me to stay mad at you. I can't resist you when you look at me like that."

He gently grabbed me by the waist and pushed me up against the nearest wall. He reached behind me, and tugged at the strings on my dress, causing for it to fall loose. I quickly grabbed the dress, trying to cover my exposed skin. Soren leaned closer to me and whispered in my ear, "You don't have to be shy in front of me."

His words were soothing, gently he took hold of my hands and pushed them above my head. I heard the fabric drop to the floor, leaving my body completely exposed. Soren began kissing my neck as he worked his way lower down to my chest. I gasped as I felt his lips on my chest. It felt so amazing, his hot touch left me wanting more. 

"Your so beautiful Arya." He whispered. The last of my sensible thoughts left my mind when he began to suck on my skin. A soft moan left my lips when his hand covered my breast, squeezing it. I arched my back as his hand brushed up my inner thigh. He pressed his body against mine, and my eyes widened as I felt his hardness pressed up in between my legs. 

I felt Soren smirk against my skin, satisfied with my response. I felt my eyes roll back in my head when his mouth found my breasts. Taking my n****e between his lips, he gently sucked on sit. I struggle under his hold on my hands desperate to touch him. His grip tightened, not letting me escape. With his other hand, he pushed his erection against my core, I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted him inside of me. 

Just then I saw an image of the fae looking at me with a dark, threatening glare in his eyes, You're mine, and mine only. I gasped pushing Soren away from me. "Arya? Was I going too fast? Were you not ready for this?" A pained look was spread all over his face, I couldn't stop thinking about the feeling like I was being watched now. I grabbed my dress desperate to cover myself, "No you didn't do anything wrong Soren, I'm sorry, I don't think I'm ready to do this yet."

As long as Soren and I have been together, we have never gone further than this. I was still a virgin. I was about ready to give it all away for Soren, but not with the feeling like that fae was watching everything. Some part of me actually felt guilty, like I shouldn't have done that at all. I looked at Soren as he hung his head looking to the floor. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have rushed you."

I felt really bad now, I cupped his cheeks, "no Soren, you did absolutely nothing wrong, I'm just not ready for this." It was the truth, but at the same time, it was a lie. I was not ready for this, but at that moment it felt like my first time wasn't supposed  to be with Soren. He nodded his head, and grabbed his jacket that lay on the sofa and walked towards the door.

"I'll see you later?" He turned around in front of the door to look at me, I gave him a half convincing smile, "yes, my mother has called for a meeting with all the nobles to discus what we are going to do with the fae." His frown seemed to grow further at the mention of the fae. He turned around and left me all alone in my room. 

Some sort of relief washed over me now that he was gone, but I started to panic when my mind retuned to the image I saw of the fae. Was my mind playing tricks on me? I went to the bathroom, and splashed my face with water, gently tapping my cheeks I looked in the mirror, "It's all in your head Arya. All in your head."

I walked over to my bed, slumping over the sheets. I began to feel very tired as I dozed off.

This was the cell we kept the fae in. But why am I in here?  "What are you doing here princess?" I audibly gasped as I heard a voice coming from behind me. I spun around ready to defend myself, but I was met with darkness. "Where are you?"

There was shuffling in the darkness, and then I saw him...the fae.  He slowly crept towards me, not once did he break eye contact. "Stay away!" He stopped moving for a moment. "I can't hurt you. You're not really here."

Confusion clouded my thoughts, I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. "You must be sleeping. Your consciousness is here in this cell, but your body in still where you left it before you fell asleep."  He explained. 

"What are you talking about? That's impossible." The look in his eyes said otherwise. I've heard of this before, our minds leaving our bodies, I've witnessed it first hand. Many of our doctors use this method to reach out to the consciousness of other elves, often when they were in coma. This meant falling in a trance-like sleep that allowed you to leave your body, you could go anywhere you've already been and no one will even know it. 

What still confused me was how I did it, and why of all places I was here? "Why am I here, and how can you see me?" I looked at the fae, he obviously knew I was here, and he could see me, no one was supposed to be able to. "Because we're soulmates, and you are mine."
