February ,6 ,1990 It was Lucas's birthday. It wasn't even 5 a.m., and Lucas was in my room, and he woke me up to discuss his birthday plans. He wished me a good morning and asked,” Are we not going to shop for tinsel, balloons, chocolates and cake ?”. I tittered and said to him,” Certainly my dear, but I am sure we can wait till the stores open, right?”. Lucas nodded in agreement and laid beside me. The c***k of the dawn was bright and sunny. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in,a gentle cool breeze and golden light everywhere . It seemed to me that the morning had been blessed . Lucas was definitely not a morning person but he is always ready to be one on the day of his birthday.I prepared his favorite funnel cake and hot fudge . Lucas for sure had a burst of enthusiasm in him . He took no time to eat and freshen up in order to leave for the store.I drove along with Lucas to the Faneuil Hall Marketplace in the heart of downtown Boston , while Lucas was enjoying some of his favorite music pieces on the radio.
