“Why did you file the missing person complaint?” I asked Sara in confusion. We were in our bedroom right now. She was still working on some files. “To keep me on the safe side”, she said and then looked at me. I was confused by her confession here. "What do you mean?" I asked her while coming beside her on the bed. She looked at me and smiled. "Mr and Mrs Burner confirmed that she hasn't returned home for the last ten days. They are trying to get her whereabouts but none of her friends has confirmed that they had seen her those days. Before they can take any action against me, I felt that I should volunteer here for the sake of my so-called family (she emphasized the words in a sarcastic tone)... so I asked Frank to file the complaint", she told me without any hesitation.
