This past week, I found it difficult not to think about the President"s holiday that we are soon celebrating. Lincoln was an outstanding President. Noted for being extremely fair-minded. Washington, of course, the Father of our Country certainly was a man of vision.
And my thoughts wandered to other countries I had visited. I remembered one day standing atop the Acropolis, a fortified hill in Athens, Greece, looking at the proud columned ruins of the Parthenon. One of the most magnificent of man"s architectural creations. The Parthenon was a Doric, which was a Greek religious temple design centuries ago.
