Webster"s dictionary states "joy" is a glad feeling—happiness, delight. The Bible mentions the word joy forty-five times, and the word joyful is used fifteen times. Joy stands for Jesus, Others, and You.
If you place Jesus first in your life, everything else will fall into place perfectly. Then place others, your family, your loved ones, and your friends next. Stop and consider how your actions will affect these people. Are you doing something that will hurt them? Perhaps a kind word or gesture could really make a difference in their lives. All too often, we only consider ourselves in a selfish, vain way and never stop to realize that if we made a special effort to extend ourselves to others, they would return this kindness.
