Yet the state is going crazy
With Yucca Mountain madness
People are in all states of undress
Exposing their inner most feeling
Atomic blasts and nuclear war they are seeing
Running around attempting all sorts of actions
Trying desperately to untie all factions
The President says "It"s a fate-a-compli"
Our Governor says "It will not be"
Our Mayor is raising community awareness
Most people are confused and under stress
What can we do to fight? This certainly is not right!
The answer of course, is we must unite
We must conquer our fears and frights
Perhaps there is a route that is realistic
Forget the egos and don"t be materialistic
In the end, if we must accept this course
Let"s sing Las Vegas praises until we are hoarse
