Many of us associate evangelization with missionary work in faraway places, or with going door to door preaching a certain doctrine, or preaching from collapsible tents or street corners, or voices blaring out to us from a radio or television sets. Yes, it can be all those things, and much, much more. It is touching lives in a way that people will be changed. That they will recognize and accept Christ"s love for themselves. So, anytime we do anything to bring about the kingdom of God in the world today and in people"s hearts, we are evangelizing.
Since the Pope"s declaration called Vatican II, a new awareness of us, the people of God, as Evangelizers has come about. Now, we are beginning to see filling the needs of people as every real act of evangelizing. We are coming to realize that we
