Every day the sun sets in the west just as surely as it rises in the east. Every day the water of the sea is evaporated, swept inland to the mountains, and rolls back in streams to the place of its origin. In just this way, all who have shared and learned and loved as part and parcels of this congregation now pass through the doors of this church for the last time, taking with them a little bit of this group. The good times, the bad times, memories of potlucks, bingo parties, psychic fairs, fellowship, and a closer walk with God and love. During our time together, some have made an almost superhuman effort in working for the church when it seemed they must be too tired to move after working eight or ten hours a day.
