How easy it is to blame others for our failures. No doubt others often make it difficult for us to succeed, but to blame our defeat on others is really to admit that we ourselves are not big enough to overcome the obstacles that are in the way. When the expert misses the mark, he looks for the fault within himself. Failure to hit the bull"s eye or to reach the goal is not so much the fault of something beyond us as of something within ourselves. To improve our aim, we must improve ourselves.
