I wilted under Devon's gaze as he continued to hold the cup of water, and I quickly turned away, casting a sidelong glance at Colter who was sitting on the nurse's desk. He tinkered with his ear, pulling on the lobe of it as he did so. Neither one of us felt like discussing the fight we had with Draco earlier.
‘‘Colter’s being secretive too…’’ Devon said this as he followed my gaze and observed that I was looking at Colter. I turned my attention away from him and toward the beddings while I fumbled with the stray thread. ‘‘It would be of great assistance to know what took place. Colter contacted us stating that you were being followed, but when I arrived, all I saw was you on the floor and him in a choke hold...’’
My worried eyes immediately shot back up to Colt
