Charles took the long way around, sticking to only the back roads. Elizabeth was fidgety at first but soon dozed off in the passenger seat. Charles wasn't sure exactly where they were going tonight. He only knew somehow he had to get legal custody of Elizabeth before it was too late. It shouldn't be too hard. He had Elizabeth and Nancy's birth certificates where he was listed a Nancy's father. He knew for sure that Nancy didn't have any paperwork besides the DNA test that Nancy wanted to be done. He only knew this after the fact when he went to try to convince David that Nancy was losing touch with reality.
