Brad sat back in his desk chair after Claire as silently as possible filled him in on what was taking place at LeBlue Sanitarium. He knew she was trying to be as calm as possible with Elizabeth present. Luke was doing his best to distract her, but they all knew that she was tuned in to what was being said, so words were being carefully chosen. Taking their lead, Brad hadn't exactly decided what needed to be done next, but he knew that Elizabeth didn't need to be around when it was done.
"I know ya'll want this done as soon as possible," Brad said in an even tone, darting a glance toward Elizabeth. "Is there anywhere ya'll can go and kill some time here in town. Maybe go get some ice cream or something? Just in case I need ya'll to come back in."
