Fight with the Prince

Veer receives a letter and after reading it he straightaway goes to the general and asks the reason behind not sending warriors to his village for their protection against demons . Zod assures him that demons won't be summoned so soon and either way warriors will be sent soon . Seeing lack of seriousness in his words Veer asks if he should talk to the king , Zod strictly tells him that king is busy preparing for war and there's no need for that so he should trust him . Veer leaves , he knew that preparation for war was going on but he still had his doubts , in the way he accidentally clashes with the prince . Veer asks for forgiveness and tries to leave but is stopped by the the prince who tells him that he wanted to meet him in person .

Prince takes him to the training ground and declares that he will have a match with the demon killer to see who is more powerful and the one to lose will have to serve the winner for his whole life . Worried about his friend , Ashok tells Prince Raj that Veer is still training and would be no match for him who is the best archer in the kingdom . Veer taunts that he will agree to the bet if it's a match of close combat . Alessia whispers to the Prince that he can't defeat Veer in close combat .

Raj then says that if he's so afraid of the bet then he will allow the match without the bet but if he wins Veer would have to fight by his side in war and Veer couldn't help but agree . In the match despite Veer trying his best Prince Raj overwhelmed him with his volley of arrow showers , had general Zod not intervened Veer would have died . Jalal smirked in triumph and told Veer that he is happy to have him by his side . Because of his humiliating defeat Veer gritted his teeth.
