The Demon Killer

As usual another demon attacks the village , spitting fire from his mouth he was burning houses , roasting and smashing people to death with his mace . Some warriors equipped with weapons arrived on horseback , they started fighting the demon .

Veer was ploughing his field , a boy came running and informed him of the demon attack . He asked Bhadr, his friend to take care of the equipments and hurries after the boy with his plough. When he arrived he saw the warriors fighting the demon , the archer was firing enchanted arrows towards it but the demon neutralized them while the others were continuously trying get near it , it was a good distraction creating openings for the archer .

Veer joined the fight and attacked the demon viscously with his plough . Together they overpowered the demon and killed it . Veer thanked them for saving the village ,they tell him that it was their responsibility, confusing him .They tell him that they have come to meet him and would like to talk to him, to which Veer agrees.

The warriors introduce themselves as soldiers who were sent from the capital by the King to bring him . Veer asks why would the King want him to come to the capital . They explain that his fame as the killer of demons reached the king's ears and he wishes to meet him . Bhadr heard their conversation and saw hesitation in his friend's mind so he drags him to a corner and tells him that there is no reason to deny and furthermore the king might cause trouble for their village if his denial annoys him . Veer agrees to meet the king and sets our with the warriors to meet the king .

When they reached the capital, the village guy was speechless at the prosperity and the palace was like a dream to him . There were guards outside the palace equipped with spears and armor with whom the warriors talked about something and they proceeded inside. They led him to a hall which he came to know was the court , he was told that they are lucky since it's the perfect time to meet the king otherwise he would have to wait .

Veer stood before the king along with the warriors , the king was a middle aged huge man with fierce features and a huge mustache yet he adorned one of the most handsome faces he had ever seen and beside him was a toned young man whose looks were enough to make a girl's heart melt , he deduces him to be the Prince . They bow before them , the king greets him and confirms if he is the one who killed the demons who attacked the village Govan . Veer asks if he might know the purpose of him being called to the capital. The prince comments that he is quite bold and he likes that and the king laughs and says that guys like are what he needs in his as army . Veer was disgusted and declares that he can't become a soldier because he needs to be in the to village to protect the people from the demons since they don't get protection or help from anyone else. This incited the prince and the officials in the court and they warned him .The kings asks everyone to calm down and tells him that the enemy kingdom doesn't attack directly and summons demons for this purpose and since his village marks the end of the kingdom's territory they are the first to be attacked , however they are going to wage a war against them and conquer the kingdom so if he joins his army he would be able to stop the demon's attack forever . Veer's heart racing and inability to think more in the tense atmosphere makes him agrees in the hassle , the king congratulates him and asks his general to guide him .

After getting out of the court general Zod notices him lost in thought and asks if something's the matter , Veer replies that he's worried if a demon might attack before they conquer the enemy kingdom . The General informs him that lots of sacrifices are required to summon a demon so there's time before they can summon another demon, also they will send some capable warrior as a precaution . When doubtfully asked by the guy if he is honest about his words Zod assures him. Suddenly Veer remarks that he didn't bring any clothes or money ,the general laughs upon hearing him and tells him that he soldiers need not worry about such things.
