Rem paced the narrow space available in the office, impatient as they waited for a response. Grandfather and Ezra spoke quietly in the background, but Rem ignored them. After what seemed like an eternity, the phone buzzed. Rem smiled, seeing the response of a location and time.
"Anyone want to come with?" they asked, turning to the two men.
"I will," Grandfather volunteered. "I'm more discrete than he is." He hiked a thumb at Ezra who just shook his head.
"Fine, let's go." Rem tossed the phone back to Grandfather and started toward the door.
Ezra stood quickly. "Please be safe," he said.
