Serine's POV
As Serine counted the seconds, she looked carefully over the area, trying to see if any Hunters had noticed her exit from the back of the mansion. Afraid to cast her mind out after the outburst of rage, she held back that ability.
"Hey! Stay right there!" shouted a frustrated female voice.
Serine turned her head, instantly angry again, and simply said, "No."
The Hunter paused and her expression dropped into one of confusion. She turned and walked away, even saying into a walkie that the back was clear.
