"I'm what?" I screeched, pushing Alarik away. I scrambled off the bed and put a distance between myself and the triplets. "You're pregnant? Didn't you smell our pups?" Ezra asked, frowning. "No, I didn't, your jerk! How could you not even mention I was pregnant despite knowing it? How long have you known?" I growled. "Since you got injured," Oberon answered. I scoffed. "This is why I never wanted mates," I whispered under my breath. "I f*****g knew our relationship wouldn't last." "What are you talking about?" Alarik growled, closing the distance between us. "Step away, Alarik, and you don't get to look so hurt. From the beginning, there was no agreement between kids in our deal," I said. "Deal?" Alarik scoffed. "So, from the beginning us being mates was just a deal to you?"
