My instincts have never been and this time too, I guessed it right. A loud clatter and the smoke rising to the skies were an indication that we were under attack. I squared my shoulders and prepared myself for the upcoming war. I transformed into my wolf and took the lead. When I saw the enemies charging from the other side, I howled and charged forward, my pack following right after me.
If I have to be honest, I was scared shitless but that doesn’t mean I will cower away. My pack needs me and I needed to do this. I can’t hide behind my mates forever and expect them to protect me every time. I could do it on my own. After all, hard times create warriors. I might not know how to fight but I’m smart enough to protect myself.
