He deepened the kiss, and it was all that Nita could do to stay standing and not wrap her legs around Vic’s waist. It’d been too long since she’d been with a man anyway, and adding in his scent was driving her a little bit crazy.
Alright, it was driving her a lot crazy. Giving in to her instincts, and with Vic’s help, she jumped up so that her legs were wrapped around him, his hands cupping her a*s as he held her to him.
“Nita,” he growled as he pulled away from their kiss, his eyes flashing amber. She briefly wondered if he’d spent too much time alone in the woods and his shifter side was dangerously prominent, but she pushed the thought aside. It wasn’t like she was defenceless, and her bear form was bigger than his panther; if it came to it, she could protect herself.
