Vic paced back and forth as he waited for Nita to return from lunch with Ari. He was worried about her, and he couldn"t quite explain why. She was a grown woman and perfectly capable of looking after herself. Especially considering that she could turn into a bear at will.
To his surprise, Nita bounced down the path towards Kem"s front door, looking considerably lighter than she had before she"d left.
"I take it everything went well?" he asked, receiving a wide smile in return.
