JED'S POV
"What? Repeat what you said," Zain stuttered, shock clearly written all over his face. I felt good.
"You heard me right," repeating his exact words got me the reaction I wanted. He looked like he could kill in that moment, I could tell from the way his face instantly became full of anger that he wasn't going to take this easily.
"That's a lie," he shouted. "That's a bloody lie," he shouted.
Silence filled the room, I didn't attempt to break it. I let my words sink in, I let him take it all in.
"Ana is my mate Zain and there's nothing you or anyone can do about it, you either accept it or watch things unfold," I told him. And then he laughed again confusing me even further.
